Oaklawn farm zoo and update.

At Nova Scotia's largest zoo, Aylesford, Annapolis Valley  last year

I haven't too much to say today, it's too cold and too early in the morning! lol
I am thinking of packing my clothes for when I go see my daughter in Alberta in June and going over last year's clothes to see what I need to take in as I've reached my FIRST goal weight, two weeks earlier than expected!! Woohoo Aaaaaaaaaaaand I'm feeeliiiiiiing good!!!!  hahaha
Now I've set another goal weight. I know some of you would believe I don't need to lose weight but I am not comfortable with too much fat on my body. I look in the mirror and think Yuck! All of my life growing up  I have been lean and muscular BUT I was a smoker too and that is also Yuck!! SO I quit smoking and started eating more as food started tasting a lot better and gained a whole lot of weight. So now I have quit eating wheat, dairy products, processed foods and basically all white stuff including potatoes and I am eating a lot of vegetables and limited fruits, grains and oats and meats. I make healthy smoothies almost everyday sometimes twice a day with fruits and vegetables in it.

It's so funny when I tell someone how much I weigh and they don't believe me. I don't look as heavy as I am as I carry my weight evenly and keep basically the same shape. I actually had to prove my weight twice lately by stepping on the scale and showing them how much I weighed. I think it is because I am big boned. I have a fairly large frame with big hands and big feet...Oh my goodness I sound like a monster! lol
The smallest I have ever weighed is 123 pounds and that is only skin and bones as I was pretty hollowed out! hahaha  I had been sick and couldn't keep the weight on. When I was in my teens and 20's my prefered weight was 128. My normal weight for my height, according to my high BMI should be 140 pounds and the low BMI should be 120 pounds. I would look very underweight at 120 so I am going for the 140 pounds and I still have 25 pounds to go and I have lost almost 17 pounds in 2 months! Happy happy happy!!
You will have to figure it out on your own those of you who are good at solving math problems!! hahaha
I have only ever travelled on a plane once and so I'm not used to packing a suitcase but my friend Ida (She's my Gayle) goes quite often and one day I was at her house and we went up to her bedroom so she could show me the clothes she bought to go on her trip. She had laid down all her clothes on the floor (you need a big room, especially for me as I like clothes more than she does! lol) and made outfits for as many days as she was going. The thing of it is you need to make sure you have tops that can go with more than one bottom that way you have more options. So that is what I will be doing. I'm going to try to choose outfits that are versatile. (That was a big word for me not a word I use every day!) lol

I have a special thing I want to do for my Aunt Corinne who lives in St. Louis, Mo. and I will be working on that project as soon as I return from Alberta if everything goes well. I will be sharing it with you guys too. I really hope it works out as well as I can picture it in my mind. It's a surprise for her so I can't tell you what it is but I can't wait to do it!!!
Anyway, as you can see I don't have much to say! lol  But I'm starting to warm up now that the fire is going! I can't wait until the day I don't have to start the fire every morning!!! ugh

I hope you just have the most wonderful day, wherever you are!!!
See you later!!!! xox

P.S.  Stay tuned for my Alberta highlights!!!

P.S.S. I have a lot of clothes that I've made and need to take pictures of them so you can see them I just don't have the time right now but soon!!!
